By the way, the Syrian Observatory is an opposition propaganda outfit funded by the Qatari government and works closely with Aljazeera (the station of House of Thani).  But it is far more willing, albeit grudgingly and only minimally, to report some war crimes by the rebels than Western media or the Human Rights Watch of Lebanon-Syria office--a mere press office branch for the Hariri family and its media establishment.  Just yesterday, the armed groups executed by ganging a Syrian for being "suspected" of working for the regime. Did you read about that in your local Western media?
