Christians in Qusayr

There is no more coverage of the civilians of Qusayr in the Western press: we know that the manufactured hue and cry was a cover for the fighters to provide them with safe exist.  New TV visited Qusayr and interviewed many Christians of the rif of Qusayr: they all had horror stories to tell about the the fanatical Islamist fighters who took over the area by force.  Hala Jaber, the correspondent of the Sunday Times, visited the region and posted pictures on Facebook of Church of St Elias.  I asked her whether the damage that is visible is accidental or deliberate.  She told me:  "Outside accidenal, inside most definitely deliberate. Icons and crucifictions removed torn out. Alter damaged.... very intentional, not the kind of damage caused by shrapnel or bombs."
