UN and chemical weapons in Syria

After the US protested that a UN official maintained that the Syrian armed groups have used chemical weapons and not the government, the UN was compelled to issue a clarification: it said that it was just kidding. Sorry for the misunderstanding.  Almost, I kid you not.
