"Introduction to Lebanese Secificity"

It speaks volumes about the quality of graduate degrees at the Lebanese University that it awarded a doctorate to Nabil Khalifah (a Phalangist geo-political analyst, as he likes to refer to himself), with a "very good" rank, for his "Introduction to Lebanese Specificity".  It is a joke, really.  I just finished reading the book and he allows himself to compare rain levels between Damascus and Beirut to underline the nationalist distinction of Lebanon versus its environment.  Kid you not.
