Arab public opinion

The last Pew poll about Arab public opinion revealed how wrong Western and Arab media assumptions have been about Arab public attitudes toward the Syrian conflict, although I have been arguing that point here noting that there has not been any significant major public protest in support of the "Syrian revolution".  In Egypt, such calls for protests usually attract a few Salafites and a handful of Trotskyists.
