Western media and their pet natives

When Western media decide to lionize some natives, they basically find every utterance and every yawn and even every burp to be so witty and sophisticated.  Time magazine is very impressed with this tweet:  "“I am having dinner now with citizen journalists and photojournalists, we’re eating tomato and mortadella. Come join us.”"  And regarding the citizen journalists: was Abu Muhammad one of them? I really one to meet this guy who reported to Aljazeera from Aleppo although he was able to witness massacres in Homs.  I nominated him to the Baraziq journalism prize.
