Bread and Freedom

I just stumbled on this from the essay on "Bread and Freedom" by Albert Camus.  He is talking about bourgeois intellectuals:  "They often say that they are defending freedom, but they are defending first of all the privileges freedom gives to them, and to them alone."  (From Camus, Albert, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death.)
