From Joseph: "Hi As'ad:
The Washington Post's David Ignatius has a weak mea culpa on the 10th anniversary of the American invasion of Iraq. One of his lessons learned is "the importance of dignity in the Arab world." As a non-Arab, dignity plays no importance in my life. It is of no use to me. People can spit on me or throw their shoes at me, I don't care. Ignatius helpfully reminds us that, "from Palestine to Benghazi, people who are penniless in terms of material possessions would rather die than lose their sense of honor to outsiders." Those penniless noble savages must be shown dignity when we invade and occupy them!"
