"Correction to Economist article on the blog Thursday"

" The four that the Economist article has as the number of Palestinians killed by the Israelis since the ‘end’ of the November assault on Ghazza is incorrect−actually fourteen Palestinians have been killed– and the numbers on the left are the cumulative total of  Palestinians killed since the ‘end’ of the latest  Israeli assault on Ghazza in November –205 as at 14 March 2013)
181. Hatem Shadid, 35, was shot dead Monday 3 December near Nablus by Israeli Shin Bet. He was the father of five children, the youngest 6 months, the eldest 11 years. IOF stole his body and took it away for five days.
186. Muhammad Ziad Awad Salaymah, 16, Wednesday 12 December was shot dead in al-Khalil Old City by an Israeli border guard. Al-Khalil is not on the border.
188. Anwar Muhammad al-Mamlouk, 22, was killed Friday 11 January by Israelis who shot him as he sat outside studying for an exam in Jabaliya refugee camp. Another student was seriously wounded.
190. Uday Kamil Muhammad Darwish, 21, was shot dead Saturday 12 January by an Israeli just outside alKahalil.
191. Aali-Fadi, 20, was shot dead by IOF Saturday 12 January, and three others were wounded near Rafah, civil defense spokesman Muhammad al-Maathneh said.
192. Mustafa Abu Jarad , aged 21, Monday 14 January was shot in the head by an Israeli soldier in Beit Lahiya, and died in Shifa hospital.
193. Samir Ahmad Abdul-Rahim, 17, died Tuesday 15 January shot by four live bullets to his head, chest and leg when IOF swooped on Budrus High School, when students were leaving after taking their final Tawjihi exams.
195. Salih al-Amarin, 15, died Wednesday 23 January after being shot in the head by an Israeli soldier in Azza Camp Friday.
196. Lubna Munir Hanash, 22, was shot in the head 23 January by an Israeli soldier and died at the scene. Her friend, Suad Yusuf Jaara was also shot and is in Ahli hospital in Hebron. After the shooting Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance from accessing the scene. Lubna was political science student at Al-Quds University
198. Saleh Ahmed al-‘Aamreen, aged 15, died 23rd January 2013 of wounds sustained on 18 January. when he was hit in the head by one of the new CS gas bullets in 'Aida Camp. At a peaceful demo to protest this killing, Ahmed ‘Alian al-Qadi, (24), was also shot by a CS gas bullet in the head and seriously wounded.
200. Imad Abu Qadrous, 5, died Thursday 14th February, of head wounds sustained Tuesday caused by Israeli booby-trapped or unexploded ordnance, which injured three other children including his brother, Younis, who lost his arm. Also Thursday 14th, three little siblings were wounded in a similar explosion of an Israeli device in Beit Hanoun, Abdel Kareem Abu Odeh, 6, Amer Abu Odeh, 4, and Duha Abu Odeh, 4.
202. ‘Arafat Sharif Jaradat, 24 who was arrested, grievously wounded, 12 March 2007, died in an Israeli jail Friday 22 February 2013 from torture and medical negligence.
204. Muhammad Asfour, 22, 7 March died of wounds He had been in a coma since he was hit in the head at close range by a rubber-coated steel bullet fired by an Israeli which smashed his skull and caused extensive bleeding in his brain 22 February, in Abud. Muhammad was a student in the sports department in Al-Quds University in Abu Dis and was at a peaceful demonstration in which four others were also shot.
205. Mahmoud Adel Faris al-Titi , aged 22, was shot dead Tuesday evening, 12 March by an exploding bullet to the jaw, and the IOF obstructed his evacuation to the hospital for 15 minutes.  Exploding bullets are illegal.
At 22:20, an IOF jeep entered al-Fawar camp and broke down. Lots of children and youths gathered around and started throwing stones at the jeep.  In response, enraged Israeli soldiers immediately poured out of the jeep and opened live fire. Mahmoud  was seriously wounded by a bullet shot at very close range into his jaw. A PRCS ambulance attempted to evacuate him immediately, but was obstructed for 15 minutes by the Israelis: Mahmoud died in the ambulance. Medics said the bullet was an explosive one, and it exploded in the victim’s head, causing severe haemorrhage and  'crush injury'. Five civilians, 3 of them children, were also shot and wounded."
