Fahd

Today is the anniversary of the execution of famed Iraqi communist leader, "Fahd".  That was a communist leader.  Shi`ite clerics were terrified of his influence.  Muhammad Husayn Fadlallah, who grew up in Najaf where his father was a teacher, once told me that the clerics were forced to read about Marxism due to its influence among the people there.
