Victory for Saudi women

So the media of Saudi princes are busy hailing the decision by Saudi king to include appointed women to the appointed, powerless, and ineffective Shura council, where members are only permitted to applaud the wisdom of Saudi king and princes.  For Saudi women to leave their homes to attend the meetings of Shura council, they need the permission of their husbands or fathers.  And then they need a man to drive them there because they can't drive.  Once they are there, they are forced to enter from special doors and to sit in special segregated chambers so as not to mix with men.  But once inside, they can applaud the wisdom of the House of Saud and then have a male driver drive them home.  Hail the victory for Saudi women.
