This kind of discourse from Israelis does not get front page coverage in the New York Times

"Jeremy Gimpel, an American-born candidate running in next week’s Israeli elections, has inflamed the race after video surfaced of him asking what would happen if two mosques on Jerusalem’s Dome of the Rock were blown up and replaced.
“Imagine if the Golden Dome – I’m being recorded so I can’t say ‘blown up’ – but let’s say the Dome was blown up, right? And we laid the cornerstone of the Temple in Jerusalem,” he told the crowd in the video, now available on YouTube. “Can you imagine? None of you would be here – all of you would be like, ‘I’m going to Israel, right?’ No one would be here, it would be incredible.”" (thanks Basim)
