"But for many domestics in the region, the challenges are more common and
more banal, starting with the number of hours they work. Domestic workers in
Saudi Arabia and Qatar work 63.7 and 60 hours per week on average respectively,
according to a study on domestic workers worldwide released by the International
Labour Organization (ILO) this week. Domestic workers in these countries put in
longer hours than employees in any other profession - a finding that experts say
extends throughout the Gulf." (thanks Basim)
