Obama and Saudi Minister of Interior

Heads of state often pass through Washington, DC without being received by the president of the US.  Today, Obama received the Saudi Minister of Interior, Muhammad Bin Nayif.  It is so rare for a US president to receive a visiting minister but Obama (like Bush) has his priorities straight: spreading freedom and democracy in the region.

PS It is possible that Obama extended his congratulations during the meeting over the beheading of Sri Lankan maid in Riyadh.
