lies of the Syrian opposition in the New York Times

"He rejected the criticism of the opposition, saying the radicalization of fighters on the ground is the fault of Mr. Assad for “portraying this as a Sunni revolution,”"  Now I don't like Bashshar one bit but this is a blatant lie.  Not once since the beginning of the conflict in Syria did Bashshar use the word "Sunni".  Not once.  But Syrian exile opposition figures are allowed--nay encouraged--to lie if it is in the interest of the media propaganda.
