Al-Qa`idah after Bin Laden

I was thinking yesterday: "Al-Qa`idah"--if there is such a thing now--after Bin Laden may prove to be more dangerous and more elusive because you don't have a central Al-Qa`idah organization anymore but you have instead various terrorist gangs and groups competing to rise and to prove their commitment to Bin Laden's message by engaging in more and more spectacular bombings.  Western military interventions, like the one in Mali, only help spawn more of such gangs.
