The New York Times and the Lebanese hostages in Syria

So the New York Times allowed itself to serve--yet again--as a propaganda outlet for the thugs and captors of the Free Syrian Army.  If those were Israeli hostages, the Times would have refused the visit or would have inserted paragraphs after paragraphs of qualifications regarding the lack of freedom of hostages and how all what they say should be contextualized with the conditions of captivity.
