The Guardian's rumor

I was checking The Guardian application on my Sony Experia and saw a headline about Bashshar seeking asylum in Latin America.  Having never heard this before, I said to myself: I bet that they got it from an Israeli or Saudi news source.  Sure enough, it was based on someone telling someone in Haaretz.  And do you know how credible Haaretz has been on Syria? It is reduced to carrying the lies of the Saudi sleaze website, al-Arabiyya.  Kid you not.  In the last two years, the Guardian has done so much to discredit its coverage of the Middle East.  It reminds me of the political decline of the French newspaper "Liberation".
