Historical US funding of the Muslim Brotherhood

During the Cold War, it was not a secret that the US and the Muslim Brotherhood were close allies.  In his new book, Eric Rouleau talks about US funding (through Saudi Arabia) of the Muslim Brotherhood.  This is something on which more light should be shed.  In fact, the book about the Cultural and Political Cold War in the Arab World has not been written yet.
