"Abha: Border patrol in Southern Dhahran Sector in Asir region foiled on
Tuesday an attempt to smuggle a quantity of weapons and drugs. Border
patrol spokesman, Col. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Hamrani said the patrols
were monitoring a group of smugglers trying to enter illegally into
Saudi territory and arrested them, noting that the patrols found in
their possession 90 pistols, 10 rifles, and 50 rounds, in addition to 33
kilograms of hashish."
