When you watch Christiane Amanpour conducting interviews on the Middle East, it is not that her take is the propaganda talking points of the Israeli government, but that it is the old-fashioned Israeli propaganda talking points of the 1950s.  It did not bother to update her talking points.  She wants to spend all the time talking about the need to "recognize Israel."  Arabs don't want to recognize the racist and colonialist state of Israel, notwithstanding what your polygamous Arab interlocutors tell you.
