From Angry Arab correspondent: "Regarding the article you posted on Bahrain, so in Syria they are rebels and
resistance fighters but in Bahrain they are militants even though the article
clearly states they are not armed? This is just ridiculous. Also why is the
media forgetting that during the Egyptian protests to remove Mubarak, the
protesters used to burn buildings and yet they were considered peaceful by the
media (not that I am against what they did)? I had already told you about my
experience with the supposed violent tire burnings that the government and
Washington keep complaining about which I consider civil disobedience. This is
not to say that protesters are not turning to molotov cocktails like they did in
the 90s. What do they expect? Why are we subject to different standards and
different terminology? I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel to be
Palestinian.
Oh by the way the government seems to have reversed their earlier ban on protests. So today there was a huge protest. Yes its been a year of crackdowns but they will never succeed in shutting us up. The instant they relax people will be back on the streets."
