A Saudi prince defines "professionalism, credibility, and moderation"

"Adel Alturaifi has been appointed editor in chief of Asharq Al-Awsat Arabic daily, a sister publication of Arab News. He replaces Tariq Alhomayed, who will continue as a columnist for the international daily.   The new appointment was announced by Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Research & Marketing Group. The appointment has been approved by SRMG’s board of directors and the Saudi Research & Publishing Company’s board of trustees.  Alturaifi will take charge as new editor in chief on Jan. 1, 2013.   Prince Faisal bin Salman chaired a meeting of Asharq Al-Awsat’s editorial staff at its headquarters in London and commended the progress achieved by the daily. Asharq Al-Awsat is distinguished for its professionalism, credibility and moderation, the chairman said." (thanks Sultan)
