The fake friends of the Syrian people

It was amusing for me today to wake up and scan the posts and tweets by liberal Western academics and journalists who have been feigning sympathy for the Syrian people over many months and who have been devising strategies to arm and equip the Syrian armed group and to read their measured lawyerly responses to the Israeli attacks on Gaza.  It only shows that those types take strong positions--when they want--but only when those positions are consistent with the interests and orientations of Western governments.  Pretty nauseating, if you ask me.   Do you think that panels will be held in Washington DC over how to best arm and aid resistance fighters in Palestine?  Those fake liberal advocates and cowardly non-intellectuals ask the Palestinians to refrain from throwing stones at Israeli terrorists but want to send jets and missiles to Islamist armed groups in Syria.
