Sexism in the coverage of the Petraues affair: on the Lebanese Jill Kelly

Youssef sent me this: "In reference to one of your earlier posts, thought you would find this piece by Albawaba mildly entertaining [READ: ridiculous]. Not only is it sexist, but it almost comes across prideful of Kelley’s Middle East origins, as if it some type of great achievement. Just a few of the more memorable quotes:
…Although the General insists his relationship with Kelley was only ever platonic, his mistress clearly felt her Levantine sex appeal was too much to handle…
…Apparently, this second official had less success resisting the Lebanese lady’s charms and was caught with a slew of “inappropriate communications”…
…the hapless FBI agent sent to investigate the emails was found sending shirtless pictures of himself to the 37-year-old Lebanese bombshell…
…Kelley may have left her Lebanese roots behind in the motherland, but you certainly can't take the Lebanese socialite out of her…."
