New Saudi Interior Minister

The dismissal of Saudi Interior Minister is quite unusual in Saudi royal family record especially given how brief his stint has been.  Prince Ahmad just began to enjoy the limelight and to speak to the press.  But why was he dismissed? Most likely related to the unexplained series of "gas explosions" in the last days.  Something may be going on but I have no evidence.
