"The Saudi government appears to be trying to finance more secular rebel groups, Maysara said, while the Qataris appear to be closer to the Muslim Brotherhood."  It would be more accurate to say: Saudi Arabia funds Salafis group while Qatar funds the Ikhwan but the Syrian Ikhwans have benefited from Saudi funding for years.  Furthermore, secular armed groups are not identified in the article unless `Abd-ur-Razzaq Tlas and the Tlas defectors are not considered secular.
