The arithmatic of the Economist on Syria

The Economist on Syria is getting sillier by the day: and the stories are now written from Beirut and Cairo for extra effect.  Look at this:  "August was certainly the bloodiest month so far: as many as 4,000 may have died, 3,000 of them civilians and rebels, the rest soldiers or pro-regime militiamen."  So of the 1000 killed by the armed opposition groups, the Economist (from Cairo and Beirut, mind you) was able to verify that all were non-civilians.  I mean, could the propaganda in the Western press on Syria get a little bit less stupid and less obvious?  Ya`ni the Economist wants us to believe that all victims of the armed gangs of FSA, women and children and elderly, are mere Shabbihah who deserve to die?  And this is the Economist so you can imagine the rest of the Western press.
