Justifying and explaining war crimes by opponents of the Syrian regime

The Economist on Syria has been indistinguishable in its coverage from the worst versions of the Western media.  I am told that its correspondent in Beirut has become a tool of the Hariri press office which coordinates Western correspondents' coverage of Syria from Lebanon.  Look at this attempt to explain away war crimes of the armed opposition groups.
