Blaming the US/Israel: when Middle East Christians do it

Many Lebanese Christians were offended by the discovery of a Coptic document that referred to the "wife" of Jesus.  And many blamed Israel and US for this conspiracy.  But I noticed that none of the Western media referred to the matter.  I guess the conspiratorial utterances of Middle East Christians are not as newsworthy as the conspiratorial utterances of Middle East Muslims.
