Al-Hayat

A source informed today that the orders from above in Al-Hayat newspaper (the mouthpiece of Prince Khalid Bin Sultan) is not to refer to the film as "offensive to Islam and the prophet" but to merely refer to it as "offensive".  He expressed surprise because even the mouthpiece of Prince Salman, Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat, referred to it as "offensive to the noble messenger".   Lebanese editors at Al-Hayat often feel obligated to go overboard to protect the interests and alliances (including the Israeli alliance) of the House of Saud.  It could also be about the different policies and standards of various Saudi princes.
