Ahmad Al-Khatib

I have been faulted for not writing enough praises. You want praises?  Ahmad Al-Khatib, the Kuwaiti secular progressive politician, is one of the most admirable contemporary Arab personalities.  This is a man who used to donate 90% of his salary for the cause of the liberation of Palestine.   He is the godfather of progressive causes in the Gulf region.  I highly recommend his 2 volumes books Kuwait: From State to Emirate (Arabic).
