"Support for the opposition party that won the greatest number of votes in Zimbabwe’s last presidential election, turning it into an international symbol of the Zimbabwean people’s desire to end President Robert Mugabe’s
decades of rule, has fallen considerably, according to a new survey
published by Freedom House, an international research institution.
The survey, which was conducted by researchers from South Africa and Zimbabwe, also found that support for Mr. Mugabe’s party, ZANU-PF, had increased significantly".
