Who writes this dumb stuff in the New York Times?

"In a country where education is so highly prized".  Yes, unlike other countries where education is not so highly prized, or unlike other countries where illiteracy is highly prized.  So Arabs prize shoes and Chinese prize education.  That is what I learn in the New York Times.
