Western journalists on Syria

It is really hilarious to watch Western journalists on Twitter: those who are covering the Middle East--and even those who are not--view their role now as mere cheerleaders for the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian National Council.  If I have not been reading those folks and if I don't know anything about Western media and governments and if I have not read their lawyerly and cautious language about Palestinian suffering, I would have thought that those are sensitive souls who are genuinely and sincerely moved by the suffering of the Syrian people.
