Voice of America:

Of all Western media Voice of America--to its credit--dared to report that, whether you like it or not, there are indeed "some" supporters for Asad in Syria:  "Many of the refugees who came over on Thursday were believed to be supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from Damascus and its suburbs, like a driver who came on Friday, saying he had brought some people for a two-day visit."  The New York Times has not once cited a supporter of the regime without mentioning that he is Alawite, as if all Alawites support the regime and as if there are no non-Alawites who support the regime.
