The real Eli Cohen: Mossad's spy in Syria

It is time to expose that story once and for all: I wish I have time.  The myth about this Israeli spy in Syria is more a story of false propaganda than of reality espionage work.  There is no evidence whatsoever that he provided crucial information that helped Israel in the 1967 war. All that is Israeli propaganda. All stories about his closeness to the high echelons of power in Syria are exaggerated if not outright false.  Basically, Elie Cohen had one success: he established a brothel in Damascus and invited different people.  One of them may have been in the military but there is no evidence that he talked.  And most importantly: Syrian counter-intelligence of the Ba`th (not known for great skills in that area) exposed the Mossad spy and arrested.  Three films of lies were made about that spy in the West.  Three.
