The all-knowing expert

From a source in AlJazeera:  "quick story: shadi hamid (you must know of him by now, brookings inst, egyptian american, dont think speaks any arabic) came by yesterday. i jokingly asked him, "where is the new uprising happening now?" you know, he was non-stop the egypt expert, then libya, then yemen, etc... on AJE TV. he replied "they brought me in to talk about morocco." i laughed assuming he was joking and told him, "ah so you're the morocco expert now?" he said with a completely straight face, "yeah, ive been reading a lot of articles about it."
