Syrians don't want freedoms: or so says Bashshar

Austin sent me this:  "A German journalist interviewed Bashar and it was aired on German TV yesterday. The interview is in English. This has to be seen/read to be believed. Homeboy is still talking about reforms. He acts as though he was actually elected in a free and fair process. This interview was aired/published YESTERDAY. Bashar is so out of touch.
Notice that he does end up mentioning Saudi Arabia and Qatar by name, but he does so without condemning their actions. He merely mentions that the FMs of Saudi and Qatar have admitted sending weapons to the opposition. That's it.
Here's a nice quote for you:
"Now we can answer the first part. Of course they have the right, they have the legitimate right whether they are demonstrators or not. Not only demonstrators ask for freedom. Actually the majority of the people ask for reforms, political reforms, not freedom""
