The media has gone silent about Manaf Tlas, after a big extravaganza.  Were the early reports inaccurate? Were the Western media swept--yet again--by their sources in the Syrian National Council? And to what extent are Western media mimicking their own conduct when they relied on the Iraqi National Congress on all matters relating to Iraq prior to 2003?
