Mercy in Belgium

From Semir: "Another link I wanted to share with you about the situation in Belgium.
In short, a young Afghan boy had to flee his country, leaving his home bombed, his father dead and so on. He arrived 4 years ago in Belgium, found a foster home, learned the language, has a job, and is very well integrated in Belgian society. Now he has less than 12 hours left, he is been expelled by the Belgian state at 6:15 tomorrow. I thought being a political refugee would be THE valid reason to be able to stay in a country, ironically the country where you are searching the status of a political refugee is helping to spread democracy in your homeland by bombing it.
The case of Parwais is no exception in belgium, several other political refugees are waiting tob e expelled from belgium for no valid reason whatsoever.
Below is a translation of an article about this case. (sorry for the bad English, for us Belgians English is like our 4th language, for 2nd generation immigrants like me it’s the 5th language. J)"
