LA Times and Al-Akhbar

There is such a feverish propaganda war going on regarding Syria.  Only one point of view is permitted in the Western press.  Here, the LA Times relies on the opinion of an Israeli:  "Haaretz writer Anshel Pfeffer called the choice of Al Akhbar "worrying," saying the paper openly identifies with the Syrian government."  Of course, I don't speak for Al-Akhbar but anyone who reads Arabic can tell that this Haaretz writer does not read Arabic.  The political identification by this Zionist is inaccurate and false.  Secondly, Max Blumenthal has been writing courageously against Israel and American Zionists for years, and I not one have seen his name cited in the Western press.  Mainstream Western media and Saudi and Qatari media only discovered Max Blumenthal when he wrote against Al-Akhbar.  3) Max never claimed to read Arabic to judge the coverage of the paper: he was commenting on the Al-Akhbar English.  4) I like when Western media talk about bias: they imply that there is no bias in the Western press.  5) What is the problem of the LA Times with Wikileaks?  I bet if they chose a mouthpiece of a Saudi prince, they would not have objected.  (thanks Fred)
