In my republic

In my republic, Jimmy Carter and his election observers would not be allowed to set foot into the country.  Carter would be advised to go and weep at Anwar Sadat's tomb, since he admits that Sadat was his best friend and biggest inspiration in life.  Can you imagine the uproar if an Arab were to refer to an unrepentant Nazi anti-Semite (like Sadat) as his/her inspiration?
