Christians in Syria II: Tournyol du Clos

Akram, Angry Arab's chief correspondent in Syria, sent me this:  "The post of Ibn Rushd is confirmed. Philppe Tournyol du Clos is actually a member of the "Fraternité sacerdotale Saint Pierre-District de France" (Not Pie X). And as Ibn Rushd mentioned, it is a reactionary movement (French) against the reforms of the Vatican II Council (a kind of counter-revolution), a Council that opened the way to a historic reconciliation between the Catholic church, on one hand, and the non-Catholic churches and other religions (Islam, Judaism, ...), on the other hand in an act of cancelling the fourth Lateran Council (1215) according to which: Indeed, there is but one universal Church of the faithful outside which no one at all is saved and in which the priest himself, Jesus Christ, is the victim . And this is, actually, the center piece against which, the sedevacantist protest.

And yes... Philppe Tournyol du Clos is a fanatic Christian who authored 2 silly books (here and here)

But guess what... This fraternity was established in 1988 with the assistance of Cardinal Ratzinger (French) who is no one else than anti-muslim, The-Christianity-Roots-Of-Europe man, Pope Benedict XVI.

Now back to the clarification of Fides about Tournyol du Clos and look how elusive and indicative it was:

  1. It said Tournyol du Clos is actually a Catholic priest and this is a fact but said nothing about his pertinence to the extremist Catholic circles which is another fact.
  2. It tries to distance the Vatican from the account of Tournyol du Clos without confirming no denying it.
Given the Vatican is as democratic as the Syrian regime, one can easily conclude that Fides is as independent as the Syrian official news agency, Sana. Fides is nothing than a propaganda arm of the Vatican that seems to be ruled nowadays by fanatics.

And given the Vatican is as tolerant and secular as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one may conclude, that it can be involved with the Syrian regime in a anti-Muslim propaganda, though the motivations of each party differ.

I can now say, with a clear conscience, that all my estimation expressed in a previous post are possibly true. I can especially say that, until this very moment, nothingproves that Christians in Syria are abused... NOT SO FAR".
