Shabbih

Make no mistake about it: there are Shabbihah (armed thugs) for the Syrian regime and there are Shabbihah for the armed opposition.  Here is one: Haytham Al-Malih is an official shabbih now.  He endorses and justifies the kidnapping of the Lebanese pilgrims.  He said that "equipment" were found on them.  Why were the equipment not produced, o Shabbih?  By the way, Al-Malih is often introduced in the media as "liberal," while in reality (as I found out) he comes from the background in the Muslim Brotherhood of `Attar.  The worst opposition is one that mirrors a regime that it wishes to overthrow and the exile opposition and the Free Syrian Army are just that.  A mirror of a cruel and lousy regime.
