heroes of the Free Syrian Army

One Syrian wrote to me this observation: he said that when the Syrian regime attacks and shells, the other side is all full of women and children exclusively, but that when there is no shelling, the Free Syrian Army brags about its heroes and fighters.  In other words, I hear regularly that the daily casualty list from Syria are all victims of the Syrian regime, but why are there never victims by the firepower of the Free Syrian Army?  Wait. Do they use water guns? Is that why?  Let me know.
