Ellen Barry and the joke of the day in the New York Times

Just read this sentence:  "and a deepening alienation among Russia’s partners in the Arab world, who see Moscow as coming to the aid of dictators."  Oh, yes.  Russia's support for Asad will really alienate Russia's friends, like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, and Morocco who resent Russian support for a dictator.  I mean, a dictatorship is something that those regimes can't stomach.  Are you kidding me.  Those GCC countries drip democracy.
