Barry Obama

Comrade Joseph and others have asked me about my recent reference to Obama as Barry Obama.  Here is the reason.  In the new biography by David Maraniss, Barack Obama: the Story, he tells the story of Obama's transformation.  Up until the time Barry left Occidental College to join Columbia University, he did not view himself as black--which is his right, of course.  And he went by the name of Barry Obama up to that point.  When he left Occidental, he has transformed himself as black man with Barack Obama as the name.  So this is why I now refer to him as Barry Obama.
