Arabs versus Americans

"More than a year into to the Arab Spring, one inconvenient and politically incorrect truth stands out: the Arabs are much better at acquiring and fighting over power than they are at sharing it".  Yes, unlike Americans who share power very amicably.  But it seems to me, given the 50 million dead in WWII, I can't see how anyone can ever comment about the propensity to conflict or war by any people in the world.  Furthermore, if the "Arab Spring" is stalled, it is stalled by order of the US itself (and its allies in the region).
