Zakariyya Muhyi Ad-Din dead

I never liked this man: he was one of Nasser's key lieutenants, and represented the right wing camp in the regime.  But I did not trust him because he was nominated by Nasser to be his successor when he resigned in June 1967.  It was as if he was appointing a man that would be to the liking of US and Israel.  The people of Egypt were furious: and when a car approached Nasser's house that night, the crowd attacked a car that was mistakenly identified as his.  I also read a declassified US document at the National Archive that reported about Nasser's health, and that seemed to be based on a conversation with Muhyi Ad-Din.
